Has anyone here ever tested Beta before?
More pointedly, when you tested Beta was this in the agreement?
"(4) You acknowledge that SOE may, in its discretion, charge a fee for the Beta Software and/or participation in the Beta Program, and your participation in the Beta Program is contingent on your payment of such fee(s); "
They gots me credit card numbars! I dun wanna Beta if they're gona charge a mysterious amount of money at their whim =(
But i do wanna apply for the beta....
(sent letter to SOE regarding this also)
Any feedback greatly appreciated.
thankses

Me needs to start learning to read the fine print. I'll have to check my cc statement when I get it next month. Only way I'd be able to tell. As much as people give Sony a hard time.. I would assume they would take the time to notify you that they have charged your cc. Just as a courtesy. Yes the fine print says they can do it and that serves as "legal notice" but normally companies will do an extra courtesy "Just in Case".. to give those who wish to back out the chance too and to save thier people the headache of complaints. I believe Microsoft has a similar type of agreement on alot of thier software.
