Does anyone have a premium subscription that could recommend this site? (If this is in the wrong forum , please move it to where it belongs)

I sprang for the premium subscription when they launched. The site has some great info available, but you have to accept a few caveats.

    1) To make best use of the site, you have to be a day trader, more or less -- trading very actively in the bazaar, buying and selling lots of items. Looking up just one or two items a month probably doesn't justify the subscription fee; looking up 3-4 per day most certainly does.

    2) You have to understand (or be willing to learn) several financial indicators to get the most out of the site. Although they do have a "simple" mode, the power of the site comes from the advanced mode and the graphs it includes. They can help you predict future price and supply movements in items you're trading.

    3) It only tracks the supply side -- in other words, it only looks at items that are listed in the bazaar. It makes no effort to determine true selling prices (I can list a fishing grub for 1Kpp, but that doesn't mean anyone will actually buy it). You still have to be familiar with your item's market and how much buyers are actually willing to pay.

    4) It tends to be unreliable for very rare items -- mostly due to the nature of the formulae they use. They basically use the same indicators financial companies use to track stocks, and those indicators rely on fairly large volumes of supply for accuracy. If the item which you're looking up only appears sporadically in the bazaar, then the site is only good for historical price data; pricing trends probably won't be meaningful.

Having said that, they do have a great help system which can help you learn what all the charts and indicators mean. The information they provide is pretty useful if you use it right, and it can be great to be able to tell a trader, "Well, the average price of your product was Xpp and seems to be dropping over the last two months. Could you do Ypp?"
