    Booted due to inactivity?

    I know I've seen this someplace else, not sure if it was here (a search gave me nothing) but..

    Last night I left my trader up all night (like I do often) and when I got up this monring, I saw a message on my screen,

    'You have been logged due to inactivity' (or something like that).

    Is this something new? It's going to KILL the trader community!

    New to me, I leave mine up overnight all the time, too (/cheer cable!) While I was getting a run of disconnects a week ago or so (either simply EQ not up when I'd check, or sit down to see "YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED" then server or login screen). Haven't had my trader kicked off in about a week anyway.

      Trust me, it's very odd for me, too.

      My ADSL has been extremely reliable and I've *never* been booted due to inactivity.

      I'll check out the EQ foruns..

        As in the other thread, You get this message when your inactive at the server select screen, Not when your online. If you want to test this theory, Go to the server select screen and wait 3 minutes. My trader has been online since patch day and hasnt been logged off.
        Glad it was a disconnect and not a new polity.
