New Tutorial now live!
CS Assist allows use of Knowledge Base in-game

Tutorial
-------------------
- Does your significant other find EQ too hard to learn? Our new Tutorial is Live and ready to teach them to play. Creating a new character will give you the option to go through the new tutorial. You can choose to leave the tutorial at anytime and can return until your character reaches level 5. The tutorial will walk you through gameplay with easy to follow instructions in text and voice.
- Hybrids will now receive mana at level 1 as they now receive a spell in the tutorial.

CS Assist
-------------------
A new CS tool is available for use and should provide you with a better interface when petitioning. You can also access our self help option through the knowledge base. You can bring up the new window by pressing the 'P' key, typing /petition, or clicking the "Customer Service" button from the help window.

Cabalis Quests
-------------------
Iksar Warriors and Necromancers have some quests to finish!
Iksar Beastlords have a new quest.


UI Changes
-------------------
- There's a new button in the Options->Display tab to toggle between full screen and windowed mode.
- Presto Change-O! There's a new button on the bazaar window to hide all traders. Clicking a trader in the search window will make them appear (limited to the last trader you clicked)
- New text filters have been added for Pet Crits, Pet Rampage/Flurry, System Messages, Focus Effects, Exp Messages, and Who list.
- The Guild Management window should be better organized.
- There's a new /outputfile command to allow creation of text-file dumps of your Guild, Raid, Inventory and spell books.


Improved Collisions
-------------------
- There have been numerous collision system fixes and improvements.
- Collision system improvements have made elevators much safer.
- Getting out of water should be a little easier for short races. We wouldn't want all those Halflings to drown, now would we?
- Rogues should be able to more easily exit water while sneaking, although I think it would be hard to sneak with wet trousers.

Misc.
-------------------
- You now have the ability to "AutoBank" in the Bank Window.
- Casting a spell while sitting will stand you up.
- Camping while standing will sit you down automatically.
- NPC's will not begin regenerating immediately if fleeing or combat ends.
- Improved the Iqthinxa Karnkvi event in Qvic

From the look of the download, 99% of the many, many files that I got were from the new tutorial.

I can hear the enchanter cries of "OMG NERF" on the last point already, but other than that, I'm seeing a lot of neat changes going live.

Autobank? Outfiles? Hiding Bazaar Traders? Easily filtered pet spam?

And maybe now my only two characters won't have to spend 3 hours looking for the one spot to get out of the dang SH pool.

I've been feedbacking for the auto-bank for, oh, three years.

As far as the SH pool, put more water in it!

They're going to need to add a toggle in the Options window to turn off the auto-stand-when-casting.

I -must- be missing something cause I can't for the love of all that's un/holy think of why you would want something like that....

Yesterday. Yesterday. That's when this should have been live.

No joke, I was soloing for my Lucid Shard in Sanctus Seru. I had a charmed pet and a rooted "victim" mob. Of -course- charm broke and the former pet came over to explain their frustration at my making them beat up on their friends.

So I go to stand before I can cast. As I get hit and my Rune drops I take damage, and auto stand because I got damaged. Oops, just sat down again. Try to stand again. Hit again, oops still sitting.

If I had an AA point for every time this kind of crap has killed or severly (70 percent health loss or more) injured me I'd be a happy camper.

Absolute lifesaver. Alt-3 to recharm and I'm standing no matter if I take damage or not. (by the -freaking- way if you HAPPEN to sit down while something is trying to beat you down... MAX HIT every time... makes this a LOT less funny)

I cannot imagine a situation where "you can't cast while sitting" message is something anyone wants to see. Do you OFTEN find yourself wanting to NOT cast the spell you just tried to cast?

Again, YESTERDAY this happened.

Given my hotkeys and 2 boxing setup, there are times I'd prefer autostand be off.

But I'm not going to complain about it. It's not like I ever really sit anyway.

I moved it here, Lilo. Nothing in it directly affects tradeskills. Yes I know autobank is handy for tradeskillers as well as everyone else, but it doesn't actually affect tradeskills. Thus, this goes in OOC. There should be a Moved: link in General showing that this was originally there.

Now EQ is crashing whenever I get to the character select screen.

Guess it's time to spend a few hours on the EQ message board an one the phone with the (no) help desk, like I have with most of the resent patches.

It seems that autobank is limited to only those with the 16 slot (LoY?) banks. My bazaar mule account doesn't have an autobank drop. And yes, I did /loadskin default just to make sure I didn't have a custom bank skin

Tanker mentioned in that other post announcing this feature a couple weeks ago that it would only be for the 16 slot bank.

I do. I want to see that when I'm scouting around with Eye of Zomm and want to check to make sure my body is sitting so that I don't head off running when the Eye dissipates.

man, when we were lvling in SK with Mak and Stinky and Naki and Tink... that would have been /niiiice/.

So, I'll work on it : P I wish i had one of those editors, but they never liked me, so... good old fasioned way: by hand ^_^

Your sit/stand button is in the main window will show the *other* status (that is, if you are sitting it says stand, and if you are standing it says sit) and if you hotkey it (position 9), it will show the same information on the hotkey.

It's actually pretty easy to get used to glancing at it at figuring out which you are (unless of course the entrance mobs you are pulling past repopped while you came back with 2 and you need to get them all slowed on your other PC while getting enough aggro on the main PC to make sure the slower doens't get pasted, healing the enchanter when there are resists and keeping the tank alive by self healing and healing with your slower and the mobs start summoning you in a circle as they get pushed apart. Then it gets a bit hairy to check sit/stand and it can really throw off your rhythm if you are sitting when you thought you were standing. Uh, hypothetically). I've developed the habit of hitting the forward arrow before I try to cast to make sure I'm standing now. But, like I said, I don't sit a lot.

Actually...

They broke the filters on the damage shield reports and if you FD, you are considered sitting.

I suppose I'm happy that's the worst they managed to do in the patch.
