  • What do the post icon mean?

If you look to the extreme left of a message forum you'll usually see an envelope. Gray ones for new new posts. Grey ones with emphasis lines for threads with a bunch of replies or views (popular threads) and yellow or red ones for new threads and new popular threads respectively.

My question is about the black dot that appears on some of the threads. It seems to be only on threads that have no new posts. What's it signify?

The black dot indicates a thread that you yourself have posted in.

If you're seeing it only, ever, on threads with no new posts...

      Congrats. You're a thread-killer.

Ooh, do they drop good loot? Could be a good way to raise some cash for my upcoming tailoring run ...
