Ahh - the joys of becoming landed gentry.


I bought my first house this past March. Oy, what an experience! I'm about convinced that I'll never move... it was just PAINFUL.

Getting the loan was unpleasant due to some issues with incorrect information on my credit report (now fixed).

Then the mortgage company *lost* the paperwork... had to do it over again... and I truly hate paperwork.

Then there was the actual moving... but I could write a book about just that. So I'll spare you the details.

Anyways, congratulations! I hope you're as happy as I am now that all the ickyness is behind you!

Well, I close a week from friday and I'm scared to say I haven't had any glitches and I found out I had an awesome credit rating

I just can't WAIT to move! Moving day is 2 weeks from tomorrow, Dec 16th! *does a little dance* Already ordered my blinds, fridge and washer/dryer (gasp! I've never had my own washer/dryer, it's been laundromat for 6 years!).

I'm glad to say we've moved in with relative ease. The kids were wonderful, they stayed out of the way and only appeared to remind us to eat.

The computer is now set up, although I have yet to brave EQ with my new ISP. I think I'll leave that until I've had some sleep.
