You know that patch that we had last week. The one that gave us a new zone. When I ran my patcher last week for it, it only took about 30 minutes. I was thinking, cool not a lot of waiting on this one. Well, last night, the patcher must have decided that I needed the rest of the files. Three hours to download (dial-up).

Has anyone ever had this happed to them before? And no, I do not mess with the "advanced" settings.

I'd been logged into EQ From Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday evening. I just ran the patcher now, and had to download a handful of files, three of which, eqmain.dll, eqfeart15.pak, and acrylia_chr2.s3d which are of types which are generally rather large if I remember right.

So I'm guessing they pushed some new files to the patcher last night. Probably not anything freaky about your setup

But on a Cable modem, it only took a few seconds.
