Hark! Who is that, prowling along the fields! It is Draggar De'VIr, hands clutching two hardened pitas! He cries gutterally: "In the name of Thor the Mighty, I hereby void your warranty, and send you back to God!!!"

You guys have covered most of them; a couple others -
No readily available light sources in Halas/Everfrost - you used to be able to sell fire beetle eyes and lightstones there with ease.
And one of my least favorite - that sliding money bar, before you could actually type in the amount of money you wanted. If you were buying something fairly expensive, it could take forever to get the right amount of money out.
And you used to be able to sell the contents of a backpack by clicking on the backpack; a lot of people (myself included) accidentally sold something valuable from a backpack we thought was empty.
Haven't seen "Hell Levels" yet. When you wept when you hit level 30, not realizing how much easier that hell level was compared to all the ones after...

aside from the whole-bag-sellin' thing (not that i'm a click-click-clicker or anything ), I had the hardest time with the "can only have 2 bags open at a time" thing. I could NEVER get organized, simply because I couldn't visualize what I had every where.

There have ALWAYS been summoned hammers for clerics (and paladins, since they used the same spells). I still remember when my paladin hit level 15, and I had to start practicing my conjuration skill so I could summon the hammer. Since it was magic, it was the only weapon I had that could hurt a ghoul or a wisp.
Mind you, even with the later added bane undead damage, its still not a very good weapon these days, and hasn't been for some time.
-- Not wanting to give my rusty weapons to the volunteer smiths to sharpen because I was afraid they'd fail and I'd lose my weapon.
-- When more bandits were added to West Karana due to demand for camp space. I think the hunting of them died within a few days of that...
I was the ultimate newbie because I had a Finely Crafted Shan'Tok my (at that time uber) Level 25 friend gave me from Kunark. Of course, I later replaced that with the Ghoulbane I bought for 75pp. (Oh wait, that wasn't a bad thing...)
I remember the boats and the long roads everywhere, and how much I loved the Nexus when it was first released. And once Nexus was open, but before the Bazaar, I made a killing (at the time ) killing gnolls and buying SP armor from the SK vendors, then taking the pieces to Kelethin and selling for 20-25pp each.
Oh wait, that wasn't bad either...
Okay, the new days are great. I love zipping from place to place and having the Bazaar so I can sell goods all day, but there were things about the "old days" that made them a bit more bearable than we like to remember.
