  • PL'ing and farming: would love some ideas

I'm working on PL'ing a chanter (would like to eventually get her to 60 as a KEI pet, but my first goal is 29 then somewhere around 50).

She's at 24 now (*love* Paludal), so I'm looking to move to the next zone soon. Looks like Grimling is good, but I would also like to kill 2 birds with one stone; I am going to be working on taking smithing and fletching to 250, so I'll need tons of acrylia and swirling shadows.

What kind of places would you guys recommend where I could PL my chanter and perhaps do some farming at the same time?

    Thanks!

I recall going to Teneb Mts as early as 32, where grimlings were... white and db? And they drop acrylia at rather nice rates... depending on how you PL and how you want to PL, I imagine you could druid-buff the chanter, and then charm something and slay (letting druid snare the pet before the chanter charms it), give the acrylia to the druid as it drops... when druid is full, port somewhere to disseminate as desired while leaving chanter to continue charming and slaying; druid ports back to Grim, runs to TM, rinse and repeat....

but then i have never PLed a chanter, so this is all theoretical...

TM grims will offer xp to... 42? Plus acrylia. Plus after that you can sweep through the rest of the zone and get the windstones and essense of wind...

      Thanks Sanna =)

I was thinking Ten Mtns as well...I'm gonna try to porcupine her as long as I can because it's so easy...but I think learning to charm with a chanter will be good there as well (not too many mobs, easily handlable by my druid)...

I mostly PLed my chanter to 52 from 30 (was my main prior to 30 eons ago). We did the grimlings in the caves for ore and the sonic wolves outside katta were good exp also. I porcupined her until about 40-42 when i took her to CS to kill otters. At that point she charmed a wyvern and porcupined him with me healing. Spammed mem blur so druid wouldn't get the faction hits.
