Just make sure to teach your tiger that if you fall, its okay, he doesnt need to try to help you

Well, that was their "tiger friendly" excuse. I think the tiger was dragging him off stage by his neck like he would a "kill."

Im not really familiar with what a Tiger would do in the wild but Im leaning toward Roys story because I would assume that if the Tiger wanted him dead he would be and he wouldve tried to eat his kill or at least protect it rather than drag him backstage and then go straight into his own cage without his kill. But like I said I dont really know how that would work naturally, just my guess. Either way, Im glad they didnt hurt the Tiger. Even if the Tiger had done it malicously I would chalk that up to the price you pay for the risk you take working with wild animals.

Here is a video of the "attack":

          Draggar De'Vir
          92 Assassin - Povar

57 Druid of Tunare - Povar
47 Druid of Tunare - Lockjaw

Hark! Who is that, prowling along the fields! It is Draggar De'VIr, hands clutching two hardened pitas! He cries gutterally: "In the name of Thor the Mighty, I hereby void your warranty, and send you back to God!!!"

I have very little pity for him - although I'm glad he's not dead. Perhaps when he recovers, he can be a crusader for keeping wild animals wild.

It was absolutely bound to happen and they were friggin' morons for playing with fire.

I believe that the 'helping' explanation is correct. The reason is that most cats to kill something grab it by the neck... and then shake it to break the neck. It it wanted to kill him...

Chenier, he was already a proponent of wildlife conservation. I have heard both that the world wildlife foundation had some 'get well' type statements, and that an upcoming show was to be donated to several zoos.
