Ok so i have been like way way absent from the boards here, but they didn't like my system while they were at the old posting grounds, so I was unable to post there. I will admite that I am a tad bit of a Riddler, I love to hear ones I've near heard before, and tell ones that could potenualy give you a migrain from thinking about it (them).
Base rules for thread, feel free to post guess atempts, and new riddles, and try and keep the numbering in order so we can keep strait who guessing at what riddle. please read all riddles posted and all answers so that we try and avoid the dubble, tripple etc posts of the same thing lol, just makes load time way too much for some people. I'll start this with 5.

3. I still say soul. Shadows can be seen, and are never in debate, thus negating 2 of the clues IMHO, tho soul might carry too many religious connotations. /shrug

I concur on #3 being a soul/spirit. Its existance is definitely debated, in part because most who believe in its existance say it has no physical form (thus cannot be seen nor touched). "All who live have one" depends on the definition of soul/spirit used, but by the somewhat broader definitions it holds true (also depending on how you define "all who live").

A shadow can be seen and arguably touched (a shadow can fall across one's skin, or you can touch what it is falling on). The existance of the shadows seems pretty well accepted. "All who live have one" is true, but *all* things have a shadow unless they are luminescent (And even those objects have a "shadow" if another light source is included, and there always is another light source unless the object is enclosed in a opaque container, and even then you're still getting some degree of shadow from penitrating radiation) - riddles tend not to give a narrow definition when a broad one applies, so I take that line to also imply the reverse, that 'only living things have one'.

I'm really wondering about #5... my best guess would be "Heat" or "Energy". A vacuum (or "space") doesn't seem to fit with "I can be destroyed, yet I can be made", unless it is referring to the creation/destruction of matter in quantum physics. And if you're going with physics definitions, space is considered everything within the volume defined by the outermost perimeter of all matter - so if you go for the Big Bang theory, the starting ball of (literally) solid matter potentially has zero "space", and no empty volume for a vacuum either. So I don't think it wouldn't be consistant with "I am older then time, I saw it's birth I will see it's death". Then again, by the same arguments you could potentially rule out energy/electromagnetic radiation, but I'm not familiar enough with current Big Bang theory to be able to state that one either way.

I'm really puzzled by that #5 ... I'm probably thinking too much of the physics of it, but still, the "older than time" really rules out a lot if you go Big Bang route. If you go creation mythology route, then there are many possibilites dependant on the creation myth of choice.

Edit - I guess you could consider vacuum pumps to create a vacuum inside volumes, thus allowing them to be "created", and you can added a bit of matter to a previously empty location and call it "destroy"ing the vacuum, even though those are more just moving preexisting vacuums and matter around ... hmm. Still doesn't work with the older than time bit

Congrats Iannyen you correctly answered 2, 3 and 4 first, and pat on the back to anyone else that gave the same answers.

Congrats to Cerpicio for being the first to be positive on the answer to #3.

#5 space is a good answer but incorrect for the riddle.
Vacuum is a unquie way of saying space, first person to guess that term on this one, but again not the correct one.

Hint for number 5 as there a suffent number of guesses on it to warrent one.

The answer you seek is with in the riddle, in plain sight is lays, but in the commoness it hides, for a child can see the answer must be too simple to see.
