  • Setting up Wacom in EQ

Yeah, I know it's a little off-topic. But I just acquired a Wacom tablet to try to get my carpal-tunnel crippled hands back into the world of tradeskills. The idea of having a mousing area proportional to my full screen sounded like just the thing. I would have known bag positions and it would be a simple matter of picking up an item off a stack with one click and dropping it in a container by pressing the pen down.
What I get is something completely different. As I move the pen around, the pointer goes zooming around the screen. It doesn't appear to be listening to the settings in the HID driver.
If anyone has experience with Wacom tablets in EQ, please respond to this thread or PM me.

It was off topic, so I moved this to the OOC forum. Perhaps the people here have some suggestions for you.

I've used a Wacom for years for my work and found that it worked great for the constant clicking. But I have never had any problems with it. Not sure how much you are used to using a wacom, but make sure your mouse is not "overriding" your pen. Sometimes they conflict with each other. Also you don't need to touch the tablet to move the cursor. If you put the pen down on the upper left corner, you will be on the upper left corner of your screen. It's not really a click but rather a pen down (tap tap tap) that you will be doing. You can also program the toggle button for CTRL or ALT, that saves time too.
I have no clue if this will help you at all, but I didn't really understand the details of what was happening. Let me know if you have further questions.
