  • Appropriate raid music

I just had to share an observation about my choice of music while raiding. I've been listening to Evanescence lately. I noticed that the first song has the very prominent line: " I died again". And the second song is Bring Me To Life. I think that explains my experience on my last 3 raids better than I could have put it myself.

    Drowning Pool - Bodies (Tee-hee)

Don Mclean - American Pie (Good old boys, were drinking whiskey and rye, singing this will be the day that I die!)

And I forget the name, but "I.... I just died in your arms tonight...."

Another One Bites the Dust by Queen

Any of a number from AC/DC:

Highway to Hell (on the way to the raid)
Back in Black (the second time you get there)
Hell's Bells (any time during any fight)

And there are, of course, a few others. Classic Rock generally is good for EQ.

I don't really have songs...but I do listen to anime music.

That being said, sometimes it's a little creepy when one song called Aura comes up.

I agree, classic rock is good for EQ. I actually like to play the Quake 2 soundtrack while I raid

My husband and I don't have the same taste in music, so since getting married I rarely play anything whilst playing EQ.

But my first character and love was Loredena Frisealach, a Barbarian who spoke with a Scottish accent (until I gae up, tis hard ta maintain). I generally played Enya and the Clannad, loudly.

                      re. raid music

fun lovin' criminals... with the mucho grande style.. i'm a rogue, we still die but we look much cooler doing it

usually play industrial music while raiding.. covenant, midnight configuration, type o negative, cubanate, forma tadre, mesh and front242 feature heavily...

that or classical... mozart or dvorak being the most frequent

As I was reflecting on yet another failed dungeon adventure (0 for 3 so far), an appropriate piece of music came to mind...

For serious raiding, anything by "Tool".
Or, Bagpipes (1986 World Championchips are my favoite)
But for the Rathe council fight.."White Zombie", "La Sexorcicio, devil music Vol.1"
