Okay - humor value aside, I can see this turning into flames because roughly 52% of the population is likely to be offended.

Or, that 52% might put up it's own formula and then playful banter would ensue, people would be amused, and there would be widespread levity.

Why not let it run it's course? If a puppy gets hit by a car and loses a leg but is otherwise all right, do you put it down because it's likely to lead a miserable life?

If I had to hazard a guess, it would be that Lothay is simply following board policy. It is only a guess however.

What you should do when you're wondering about why a moderator closed a thread however, is PMing the moderator asking why, not posting a thread about it, as per the board rules (Rule #11 on the quick description that is--the only place it is at).

I had also closed another woman bashing thread. We did not need another one. I support the close of a second woman bashing thread. It is just not necessary.
