I have the distilled lizard blood, and will get the rest tomorrow, but I would like to purchase the skill of a 250+ smith to do the combine.

I can offer 500pp for combining and my gratitude for the upgrade from my Rune Etched Breastplate.

If you are unable to find a 250+ Blacksmith, as a 250 Blacksmith I would be happy to attempt the combine for you. With a tailoring trophy, brewing trophy and jewelry trophy, just haven't got the storage room for more. Look for me between 6pm and 1am est.

sigh... 250 skill + ANY mod item AT ALL is the max skill possible. Please stop spreading crazy rumors that +BIG mod items make a difference, because at max possible skill (250) ANY mod item will max you.

Heck at 240 skill even... (240 skill + 5% geerlok) = (240 skill + 15% hammer) = (240 skill + 10% belt)... I'm sure you get the idea.

A: No, modified skills are capped at 252. In fact, once your skill reaches 240, any skill ups that you get would be meaningless since your skill will be capped at 252.

As for my response, was simply letting Jaeden know that I didn't have the modifier he/she was seeking and therefore did not want to mislead him/her, regardless of whether it was beneficial or not to the trade...since he/she preferred one for the combine. Cheers!

I meant it more in general as far as tradeskills go. I am well aware of the current limitations of tradeskills and modifiers without appropriate AA for certain tradeskills.
