I'm up to the tailoring part of the quest finally. I was wondering, if you fail the combine on the robe, do you lose your earing and have to start from the first one again? Camping those Sacred Waters is a real pain in the ass =(

you get earring back if you fail.
that is the only item returned.

so you have to make a new emblem, fire swatches, the curing agent, etc
