do you know what drops it? I've got several charactors at different lvls so if you can tell me what drops it, I'll go hunt it for exp. and give you the silks.

Crystalline Silk - drops from the spiders at the end of Crystal Caverns. I believe its about a early 40s zone (all green to me at 51). The orcs at the entrance drop velium. Nice place to farm
