Well firstly there is no such thing as group soloist seals in game at the moment - there are just solo(ist) seals and raid seals - nothing at group level at all.

Ngreth has said that he is very likely to make BP seals a slot where you can put your choice of any of the current slot-resisted foci. He has also said that there are some other possibilities that he is considering for the BP, but has warned that clickies or class-specific stuff is unlikely because they are a pain in the neck to balance.

Actually the soloist seals are considered the group seals as they are designed to make cultural armor equivalent to GROUP armor.

I cannot see that?

They are named "solo"ist - they can be made with drops that pretty much any class can solo - and they make cultural armour that is inferior to group droped armour.

Solo by name, solo by nature - cannot see anyone considering them to be group-level in any way.

Cultural armor is not inferior to group dropped armor. It is more ac/hme than t6 gear. Focus effects are barely lower, 5%, and mod2s are similar across the board. Not sure how you can call that inferior. It may depend on your class though.

Cultural armor is in most ways superior to T5 armor, unless you're a warrior or knight, then it's missing enough shielding to make the comparison questionable. Especially if you're a knight.

But, yes, this cultural is supposed to be group armor, in theory comparable or superior to T5.

I agree. It's inferior to top end underfoot group armor, but it's better (or roughly equal to) T5/T6 group armor. If you could straight craft top end group armor for the expansion with nothing but tradeable components, why would you go out and group at all?

That said I'm not opposed to (and quite like in fact) the group seal suggestion that has been made using dropped clay to bring the armor up to the higher tier group armors in underfoot since it uses a no trade group drop component.
