I am referring to the post counts. On the past two sets of boards EQTC has used, the post counts were removed to help avoid people inflating them or using them as a Seniority system. (Yes I'm aware there were other reasons)

I have also noticed that many, many users have the "title" of junior member, member, or senior member. I personally like the other set of titles that was made a while back. Was this intentional? If so, can I please at least keep "Contributor"?

Yes, I went through and found out all the information the members list coule provide about how many posts each title requires. It seem there is only one Expert Trader and one Master Trader so far.

they're getting there. give em a couple days to deal with the things they know about before flagging new things. Not all changes are so lucky as to be instantanious.

if there's still a bad issue with something after a week or so, doesn't that seem like an ok amount of time to wait?


but I do see what you mean about the possibility of people making blatant posts just to make that number go up. That had not occurred to me before. >_<.

I have "upgraded" the ability to make a custom title.

It is too much of a headache to allow people to do it (we would be constantly editing peoples vulgar titles)

So now... only very well established members will be able to make a custom title.

The old titles are back in.
