  • Replying to messages leaves Subject line BLANK

    DenMom...

I don't know if you've noticed this or not, but when you reply to a message, the Subject field is automatically left blank. This might pose a problem in the future once folks start to use Search on this site, especially if answers are in threads with NO subject. Just a heads up.

Thanks again for giving us tradeskill freaks a place to call home.

    New posts require a sbuject.

Follow-ups, like this one, do not. This is working as designed.

Since the search seems to be quite happy searching the entirety of the message text, I don't think leaving subject lines blank is going to be a problem.

It also solves, quite nicely, the problem we used to have with someone posting with a less-than-family-friendly subject line, and not only having to edit the first post to fix the profanity, etc., but also have to edit all the replies that copied that subject line down into an "RE: "
