Slight board bugette

I've found that when you are typing a message for the boards - if you use the smiley panel on the left to insert a smiley, it puts it at the end of your text - not where the cursor is. So if you're retrospectively trying to add a smiley to the middle of some text, you have to put it in manually.

Not an earth shatterring bug I agree, but it's an annoying niggle - and I'm not sure if it's a general bug within the board software or just the scripting for these particular boards :?

This isn't really a bug, but part of how the software for the board acts. If you click and of the buttons it assumes you want it at the end of the post since you'd usually be putting these features in as you type. I agree, it can be a bit of a hassle, but I don't think it's anything Niami or Ngreth can change.

Just thought i'd mention it on the off chance it was a scripting issue - i've not seen these boards used anywhere else so I'm not certain which bits are off the shelf and which bits are customised.

I'm assuming ithe board developers will be fixing it in a "future release of the software" - or may just label it as a "feature" and ignore it

There is a way around this. By highlighting the area you want to "affect" (right click on mouse, etc) you can "insert" things where ever you want to. For example, highlighting a section of text and changing the color/font or making it a quote will insert the codes at the beginning and the end of the highlighted text. To insert an emoticon, highlight the space character were you want it and click on the face; it will be inserted into the text with a space character on each side.
