I'd like a topic locked

I made a post in which I made a deliberately exagerated example to make a point.

I was subsuquently accused of "presenting false information" and "lying"

I would like the thread locked as I feel it's only likely to devolve into more personal attacks. (since I just spent over 30 minutes writing a response, which I finally cut 99 percent out to avoid getting myself banned.)

In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.
