Maybe this is stupid, so please don't flame me.

It would be nice on the PoP recipies if the elemental planes tradeskill items where somehow denoted so that while we look through the recipies we could tell immediatly which items are elemental drops.

Well... there is a whole database driven site in development. It should be ready for general release "soon" (as in before 2004, but not next week either). We tag sources for items, but don't have scripts to highlight like this. There are just too many sources.

But the database driven site will be well worth the wait.

Ya know, there is the PoP drop listing, you can look through that as well and see where various drops are located and the mobs that drop them. That page was very well done. I'm just dissappointed that i didn't get to beta the database because i forgot to include the NDA agreement before it was locked out.

Fates willing, you'll get to see the database in a month or so, even if you didn't make it into the beta.

However, we're not going to do any exotic flagging/highlighting of drops by expansion, much less singling out elemental planes vs other PoP planes - it is just too much extra effort, and if we do it for one, we have to do it for others. However, it'll be relatively easy to click through a recipe and find out where components drop. Perhaps not as at-a-glance simple as the PoP drops page we currently have, but in a far easier format to maintain and update, as well as to search in creative ways.

Edit: in the meantime, you may find Sanna's list to be of use. It's no longer being edited while she's away on travel, but it's still very handy:
