  • Remove the Market Place Forums

All the servers should have their old boards and should set the up for this, Luclin is and doesn't need the forum.

Some forums don't have a good marketplace spot, from the sound of it, so this isn't really a good option. Not that there IS a totally good option at this point....

How about remove those servers that do have a good forum area?

I can vouch that Innoruuk server has excellent msg boards complete with a good tradeskills section where people do marketplace stuff. There's also regular for-sale forums.

We're collecting information now regarding which servers have useable forums elsewhere based on information folks are posting in the following link ...

Then again, what about folks who just stop here and look around the forums here and don't know that their server has a forum?
I know it's easier on me as it seems most of the tradeskillers use these forums as opposed to our server (RN) forums.

When/if we trim out the forums that have active communities, we'd make a forum called "Other server forums" or something of the sort, close it to non-admin posts, and keep a list in that forum with links to forums ... or something like that.

We'll worry about it once we get a master list of viable forums, etc.

              Denmom,

Do you want mod-type input on which forums we find active, or is this something you wish to decide for yourself?

Verdandi's been taking traffic info from the old Marketplace forums, as well as trolling for board links for me. We should be good. Will still be a few days before I can unbury and tackle this, anyway.
