just an FYI, I am experiencing a rather annoying bug with the boards. If I exit out of IE, and return to the forums, all the forums have cleared their new topic/post notifiers.

Sorry, this is not a bug, it is a "Feature" of the boards. It's all about the cookies on your computer. When you visit the site it records what you see. When you leave it assumes you don't want to read the other posts and marks them as read. Nothing you or the DenMom can do about it. Sorry. -
bah...since when do you work for Verant? Calling a bug a "feature"...how could you stoop so low?
P.S. Thanks for the info. However, it never used to do this. I could exit out of IE all day long and not have that happen. Shrug.Velikij

Note: This behavior is working as designed in this version of phbBoards.
There is a mod that can be installed to change that behavior, but it causes more problems than it fixes.
As much as DenMom and Ngreth would like to upgrade to a new version of the board software, changes made by phpBoard's authors to newer versions make it completely unsuitable for use on this site.
I'm sorry, it's something that for now we just have to live with.
