If you look closely, you'll see that the +5 WIS on those items comes from only two specific items in each set: Cloaks and Belts. And that's logical, if you consider that those two items are the ones that have +5 WIS according to the default, unimbued template. This is across all sets, silk, chain, leather, plate ... except for a few cases where they (=SOE) has somehow removed it from those two items.
