i have a 60x60 bmp avatar, do i need to convert it to jpg?

i've tried using the "upload from my machine" option, click browse, choose the file, click submit, but no avatar.

what do i need to do?

Not sure if they have upload turned on - e-mail it to me and I will host it and convert it to Jpg and e-mail you the link back to use.

you may need to convert to JPG or GIF. BMP is usually an uncompressed format, and therefore a larger file size than you think.

my bust, i just didn't read EVERYTHING. yes, it's needs to be in gif or jpg format. I got it working now.
