Upgrading to 2.0.4

Niami, version 2.0.4 of phpbb is something you may really want to look at upgrading to if you haven't already.

A lot of security vulnerabilities are fixed in 2.0.4 - and just FYI I have a nifty set of mods to 2.0.4 on http://www.brellrants.net that allows multiple phpbb boards to share a single user database.

If you need help upgrading your boards, I'd be happy to help..

Yup. If we upgrade, then Niami and I cannot access the boards anymore... or we disable the fancy new security features so that we can upgrade, then what was the point of the upgrade?

I KNOW it is a problem because the phpBB Support is 2.0.4 and I cannot access it any longer, so I can no longer get support for these boards. because in their infinite wisdom they decided people with Dynamic IP addresses cannot access phpBB boards... these boards are not much longer to stay here... Unless in v 2.0.5 (or whatever) they fix it so people with dynamic IP addresses can still access the boards.

What a goofy thing to do
So all the people with dynamic ip could not access then. Its actually even possible on my cable modem to have a different IP, though unusual.
