Avatar Upload Broken

The avatar upload feature seems to be broken for some people.

I have not found a ryme or reason to it... so if the upload does not work for you, I am sorry to say you will have to use an ofline avatar :/

I have not, and will no longer be able to get support form the phpBB people.

The new phpBB version 2.0.4 (we are stillo on 2.0.3) uses enhanced security.

Part of this security means that people with Dynamic IP addresses (Niami and I) cannot stay loged into the boards... and because of this cannot post.

The phpBB boards where I can get support, uses 2.0.4. I have a Dynamic IP address... therefore... I cannot get support any longer.

Don't worry, we will not be upgrading to phpBB 2.0.4, while I see why they are doing it as a security thing (IP adress spoofing) it harms more normal users that it protects the boards form hackers.

And yes, folks, this likely means we will never be able to upgrade these boards using phpBB. However, before folks start a) running in circles, or b) flooding us 5 ways to tomorrow with suggestions and offers for alternatives, etc., we're staying with phpBB until the database is ready to launch.

At that time, I expect close the boards down for a few hours, port everything to a new home, complete with all your logins, post counts, etc., and pick up right where we left off without making me go through a hundred or so files to change links yet again.
