  • Legendary armor and requirements

I was wondering what the requirement on elemental planes tradeskill armor is.It shows as

robe of ancient earth AC 25, STR 12, DEX 10, STA 8, INT 8, HP 120, mana 50, sv disease 15, sv poison 15, wt 2.0, medium

recommended level 63, required level 46; ENC, MAG, NEC, WIZ; HUM ERU HIE DEF GNM IKS - robe is a chocolate brown in color

But i am getting told by friends you cannot wear ornate armourwithout being flagged for the zones where ornate drops. My friend got a message like *you have to advance further in the planes ect*.Thats of course very vague but if you draw a line i would guess elemental tradeskill armour requires beside the level certain flags?
Would be great if anyone could clear this up, thanks in advance.

The tailored planar armor that you listed is purely tradeskill armor. You will find the recipes at http://www.eqtraders.com/secrets/recipes_PoP_tailoring.htm Your planar flag status, or lack thereof, have nothing to do with the wearing of the armor.

The ornate and elemental QUESTED armors are totally a different kettle of fish, and require planar flags in order to make them ... each and every individual class has a different set of armor, and they are no drop, to ensure that only those who have the proper planar flags can make and wear them. Details can be found at http://www.eqtraders.com/quests/PoP_planar_armor.htm

Just to clarify: Last I checked the ORNATE molds/patterns were droppable. Do these still require flags to complete their combines?

Yes, these, and the elemental molds/patterns are tradeable. BUT, in order to get the class-specific emblem needed, as well as the container in which to combine them, you must speak with a dwarf who very carefully checks your flags before he'll talk to you.
