Database - How is it going?

How is the tradeskill database going? I can't wait to see it. Should make my life so much easier and will have this widow loaded in the background so I can window out of EQ at anytime and check on items.

We still don't have a hard release date ... or even a soft one.

We're making solid progress on the thousands upon thousands of details that need to go into it, but it's very time-consuming, especially since many folks volunteer with the best of intentions, and then get hit with real life before their part is done. We randomly ask for extra volunteers to replace those that fall by the wayside, but even that eats up a considerable amount of time getting them set up, answering questions, etc.

We'll get there -- it's not fallen by the wayside. However, it's HUGE and we're trying to be very sure that everything interconnects properly for recipes, vendors, mobs, ingredients, etc., etc.

We'll hopefully have more of an update soon, but every time I think we're getting closer, another horde of new recipes, ingredients, vendors, etc. are introduced, and I get pulled back onto trying to update the current site as well as getting everything into the DB.

*I* will be heartily glad when I can "just" make the updates in one place again and forget about them, without worrying about if someone's getting them into all the right spots for the database as well.
