Where will a click take you?

In the past day or so, I am seeing adds inserted between some of the statements within a thread in the message board. Apparently this is has changed another function too. Previously clicking on the logo heading the message board would take me to the "home" position. Now it just refreshes the message board. I prefer the old function.

Well. The extra ad is probably going nowhere... We need more revenue.

As for the heading can you be more specific as to what you are clicking? It may be possible to alter that.

Ngreth, he's talking about the EQTraders logo at the very top left of every forum page. The image location is http://mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/imag.../logo_EQTC.gif. The link on that image used to point to the EQTraders site home page (www.eqtraders.com), but now it points to the forum home page (http://mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/index.php).

I was not complaining about the add insert, recognizing your need. But the new coding seemed to come about at the same time as the add insert did.

And exactly correct, Kyros. That is just what I mean.

i would think a sidebar ad would be better suited than this one... currently i see the top ad, the first post, then the second(which bumps right up the the bottom of my screen) ad making me think i have hit the bottom of the page and there are no responses... luckily i noticed the scroll was active and scrolled to see the responses.

Ah I noticed the same tonight- I hit the top left logo expecting to jump to the main EQTC pages to do a regular search, and was surprised when it didnt work.
I thought it was my computer/browser being buggy...

But yeah that ought to be fixed so people can easily jump back to the main site.
There already is a link that will go back to the main forum heading (the beginning of the "breadcrumbs" as they say)

I had to go to my bookmarks instead. Not impossible, but certainly not as user friendly, after all the logo does say "eq traders corner" not "eq traders corner message boards".

** As an addendum, I discovered on the very bottom of each page, in a brown bar just above the copyright text, on the right hand side is a link that does jump back to the main EQTC site.
Not as handy but, it is there.

I fixed the logo Was not directly related to the ads, I just cleaned some stuff up while I was there and cleaned that right away to default instead of the custom I had
