Subscriptions

When one contributes to a thread, one is subscribed to that thread. (And one receives notice of additional postings to the thread via email.) There is a checkmark that designates this. If I recall correctly, in the past, one could click off that checkmark and unsubscribe. However, this is not working for me now. How does one unsubscribe to a thread?

Click on User CP (top left), then List Subscriptions in the menu on the left hand side. Check the threads you want to unsubscribe from, and select Delete Subscription in the drop-down box below, then click Go.

There should also be an option in there somewhere to turn off the automatic subscription to threads when you post.

Edit: In the User CP, click Edit Options and you'll see a section labeled "Default Thread Subscription Mode". You can turn it off from there if you want to stop subscribing to all threads automatically, or you can change the frequency of emails.
