why won't it work in game for me?

I've tried and tried the in-game thing to no avail. why won't it work for me?

That's rather hard to answer without a bit more info. =)

What exactly are you typing? (And by "exactly," I mean letter by letter what you type into the command line in EQ.) Do you get any results at all? (A browser window with a blank screen, an EQTC page with an error message, anything?)

Can't get in-game link to work...

In the chat bar I typed:

/www eqtraders.com/i?

Then I left clicked on the item in my inventory (note: the item then appeared on my cursor)

hit <return>

EQTraders site appeared, with message that item was invalid.

I tried right clicking, left clicking, multiple times...

Of course, I can still click "search" and look the item up manually, but it would be nice to get it to work...

Ah, that's the problem. You want to put an item link in your chat bar, like you're going to link it to a friend. So right-click the item to bring up the info box, then click the icon in that info box to make the link.

So it should look something like this:

/www eqtraders.com/i?Metallic Drake Scale

Or whatever item you're linking, of course.
