RSS Broken

I've tried viewing it in IE7 and Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5.0.9 and both report the feed as being bad or broken. I'm going to have a look at it and see if I can fix it up. I'll let you know what I find.

Ed: This website: http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi is what I usually use to validate my feeds.

The only error I found was that ® isn't recognized. You may want to replace it with ® which may work. Unfortunately my webserver is a little sick and my alternate's ftp site is down so I can't test this for you.

The other warnings that the validator gives you can be safely ignored. Unless, you actually want to fix them. (As if we don't have enough work to do this time of year.)

I know what the problem is, but the solution isn't straightforward -- at least, a solution that prevents this from reoccuring isn't simple. I'll research it and upload a fix tomorrow.

OK, should be fixed now.

The validator is still complaining about the lack of a GUID, which is normally a permanent link to that headline/article. The assumption is that you're using a format similar to a blog, where each item in the feed points to a dedicated page for that headline and article. We don't use that format, so we don't have a GUID. I could stick in a link to the home page so the validator stops complaining, but that would be both redundant (there's already a link) and incorrect (since the links wouldn't be "globally unique" identifiers).
