Suggestion. Point obsolete potions to new name.

Sorry if this has been suggested before.

With most of the old alchemy potions now marked obsolete, it would be useful if the obsolete entry pointed to the new potion recipe or at least stated it's name. i.e. Gate -> Philter of Major translocation, or Blood of Wolf -> Philter of the Wolf #.

Just putting in an article that listed all the name changes would be much easier to do. Would something like that so you can look up the name of the new potion that you want do the trick? Or is it really necessary to have it linked on the old recipe?

A sticky post in message boards listing old and new name for each potion would work also (and be less work for site admins).

Or a table linked from main alchemy section of EQT site (not forums) may work even better.

If people want to keep adding to the list and turn it into something fairly comprehensive we might very well sticky it for easy reference. Turning something into a sticky to make it an easy to find reference for people is easy, but does require someone from the community to step up to maintain the list.

And I have no problem giving the conversion list, even if some of the conversions will not necessarily be popular (some of the conversions closed exploits....)
