  • More Profile Information

Hello, and think you for all the information on this wonderful website.

I have quietly used your site as a resource for sometime. I just recently started tradeskilling again, but I used your site when I skilled up to 200 to do my shawl, to 250ish during POP, and I have been using it today to look for recipies to work up to 300.

I appreciate all the information very much, but my one negative thought is that all the recipies out there are now almost a bit overwhelming. As I was looking through literally hundreds of Smithing recipies by trivials for example, I was wishing there was a filter option, which brings me to the point of my post...

I wanted to ask if it would be possible to create a more detailed profile allowing us to input more data about our primary tradeskiller (like race, class, and current skill levels) and then use that information to filter recipies. For example if I am only interested in non-trivial smithing recipies available to DE Chanters, then I could possibly eliminate all recipies that are trivial or I cant use.

If this is already out there or someone has already suggested it then please ignore me, but I did a quick search and couldnt find anything. I think this would be a most helpful addition to an already amazing site.

Thank you again for all the work that goes into your site.

I don't think we'd start offerig to store profiles on this site any time soon. The back-end work for that is pretty extensive.

However, if you use the Advanced Search option, you can limit the search to items with race limitations. This would be a bit more useful than the quick trivial list.

Also, we have broken out categories by cultural lists which would also narrow down the data presented to you.

For the advanced search is it possible to select the tradeskill type and/or trival range?

      Example:
Show all spell research trivial greater than 200 for wizards

      It's a dream anyways

The search is item-based. So you're actually searching for resulting items, not recipies. So if you were looking for research combines, you'd search for Spell: (in the item: box) and click the WIZ box at the bottom.

Doing that gives me 89 results. Note, these are the completed items, not a trivial listing.

There isn't a search for specific recipes. There is the complete listings page which also breaks things down by expansion and tradeskill.

Yes, I've used it but was hoping for something I could narrow down my options and print. I like the complete listing but I don't want to see things that are trivial to me.

          Thanks for info.

well... again... that is a search on ITEMS...

Items have no idea what their trivial is to narrow down the search.
