Tinkering recipe mistranslated?

unstained Small Fine Steel Vambraces, Cogs, Sprockets,Grease,
Gnomish Vanishing Device,
Class Five Mana Battery, Metal Fastening, Metal Twine, and Gnomish Bolts

If one assumes the recipe on the tinkering compendium to be correct, one should replace:
gnomish vanishing device
with:
a metal rod and 1 Holgresh Fur

As it is, it appears this was a cut and paste error from the breastplate above it.
