Addition to "Other Worlds" Links: ATitD

    Addition to "Other Worlds" Links: ATitD

    I'd like to ask that another "Other Worlds" link be added to the website, for "A Tale in the Desert." The main site is http://www.atitd.com/ and it is a non-combat non-level based (well, there are some levels but none of them are significant to the game) community oriented building/crafting game.

    Other links are the wiki (player run information site) http://wiki.atitd.net/tale2 and the .net forums (player run) at http://www.atitd.net/forum/.

    I think it would have a fair amount of appeal to people who are attracted/attached to tradeskills. I don't play overly much, but I make sure my camels and sheep keep fed, and my thread gets turned into cavas on a regular bases.

    p.s. Thanks for the great site and putting in all this work and putting up with our fractious community!

    Hrm, when did I lose the link to this one? {ponder} I had a blast at the tail end of Tale 1, crossbreeding flowers, but just couldn't get into T2. They're now also working on another game based on Orson Scott Card's Alvin Maker books, if memory serves.

    Will get the link back up there.

      Thanks so much - I didn't realized you had played T1! We were in the beta, and then started into T2. My partner has pretty much gone inactive (still offlining grass for the camels and onions for the sheep tho ) but I still try to slog in there every now and again. The Test of the Safari (last Tale's Body Oracle creation - where you need to find/capture various beasts around Egypt) just got released, so there's lots of activity around Egypt this weekend.

      I'm Mathir in game, and our guild hall (Bek Het Hara) is in Lower Nubia on beautiful Lotus Lake. Feel free to add me to your friend's list if you're ever online again.

      And yes, Teppy is busy with OSC's Tale of Alvin Maker (think that's it.) He's juggling working on a spell and a combat system for it along with ATitD content - busy guy! I believe the goal there is to create a Crystal City and defeat the forces of evil.
