Foraging Zone List vs Database?

Hello,

Recently I've been using the Forage Supplies By Zone Listing. It certainly doesnt have a complete list of zones, but I simply assumed that the ones not listed didn't have anything special or the list was hand-maintained and had grown stale.

For instance, the Nexus isn't listed.

My questions:
1) Is the List by Zone considered old/out of date?

2) Should I submit a list of forages I've been getting in zones that aren't on that page? It seems the information is already in the database, but I don't see a way to generate a query for "forage by zone" or "forages for theNexus".

Is there a way to refresh that static page with a dump from the database, so that there'd be a nice list?

Well, that page "Forage Supplies by Zone" is not a static page (to the best of my knowlege). It is generated dynamically.

As to why the Heartfruit Walnut, and the HoHb Zone is not shown, it looks like a bug in the script. The Source is added in the system correctly. I will prod Ngreth about this.

And as for other forages you don't see on the list, verify if the individual item has a source specified, and if not, add thread in the DB Submissions forum for it.

Well... is there a unique forage in Nexus... or... is it on this list:

Multiple Zones(Original)
small chunk of velium, roots, mushroom, fishing grubs, fruit, pod of water, berries, glob of slush water, feather, vegetables, ancient tarnished coin, rabbit meat

basically... if the ONLY thing a zone has as forages falls under this list, it will not show up in its own list. The reason being... we have not linked the forages to the zones, instead those forages are linked to the "multiple Zones" zone.

For some of these, the list of zones they fall in is so huge, I would not want to change this. But... something like "small chunk of velium" if we were given a complete list of zones if can be foraged in, in the database submission forum... we could possibly be convinced to split it out, but I would want to talk to Niami before we did so. (she is responsible for 90% of the sources entry done on this site)

There are 2 reasons why we are not likely to change this.

#1 it is a HUGE amount of work to enter in sources. Entering in the source of an item that has a huge number of zones is an even larger amount of work.

#2 Bandwidth and Server processor usage. By having these items that are foraged in a large amount of zones just show up in the one spot makes the server itself work less hard on that page, and then on top of it makes the page size smaller therefore saving bandwidth.

nope it is up to date. If we do not have a specific forage set for that zone it will not show up. (the common forages are listed in "Multiple Zones")

if you get some forages that are not in the multiple zones listing that you have found in a zone, yes, please submit them in the database submissions forum.

it is not static the page *IS* a "dump" (not a dump but an organized list) from the database.
