How do I go about submitting stats for an item I smithed that has no stats listed for it on your site?

Post a new thread in the Database Submissions Forum, that details the full right click information. Don't forget to state 'stackable' vs 'non-stackable'.

Also if you have the trivial for it (and if we're missing that too) please post that as well. If it's an item that has subcombines and we're missing stats/trivial for the subcombines too, please submit those if you have them avaliable still.

Rather a submitting drop than stats (but didnt want to create a thread for that), I wondered if it is still usefull to post an info about mob drop in that case :

There is the notice about too much droppable mob, but still there are some specific mobs listed. Is it possible to add one or rather keep the general notice (and/or delete the specific ones) and not send any more infos?

With the example you identified, we had the generic "Multiple Mobs" item for a while. Recently we recieved (from somebody, not sure who - maybe you?) some specific mobs that dropped the item. It may be reasonable to drop the multiple mobs source... but I don't really see a big issue leaving it there for now.

IE, if I have specific source information, I will keep it over a generic one for most cases. There are exceptions to this rule (like all rules). And will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Well, I was not the submiter of the specific mob drop info , but as it was the first time I have seen this item, both of the infos can be confusing : does that mean that only this item drop from this mob or this mob can drop several items including this item (the infamous and,or/inclusive,exclusive argument)?
In short, can I still submit more mobs drop infos for an item that have the too much mob drop tag or not? (your answer below suggest that the submission will be treated per case, but I just want to be sure)

Submit anything you want. As long as it is accurate we will at least consider it.

If the drop has nothing to do with tradeskills we are not likely to include it.

If the drop fits in the "mass" things (like pelts, silk, etc) we will consider what to do with the info, it could go either way. If you submit a large amount of this type of stuff it will lean further on the side of being entered. Most of the reasons mass sources (where one item drops off of 30 different mobs) were not done individually is that there was only one database entry person that could enter sources, and we had to get the info in there fast as it was the last thing before launch. We have recently expanded the list of people that can enter sources The spell research drops are still not likely to be entered because frankly, I don't think anyone has an accurate list, and it would take years to come up with one unless SOE just gave us the drop tables. But pelts and such are more possible.

If the drop is new and unique, it will be put in if we have enough information from you We will ask for more information if it is needed.

Does that help explain it? Basically as long as your are being accurate, you can submit anything you want. We never promise to enter everything, but if it fits the above info it will be entered as mentioned above.
