I did have a question regarding the amount of detail in the database. On various items, there's a blanket statement about what mob drops an item. For example, a Low Quality Bear Skin drops off of "various bears" for some zones, and has more details in others. For items that have such a general statement, do you want more specific info or do you plan on leaving it as is?

well... This goes both ways. Niami is of a mind to let it be general. I am of a mind to make it more complete.
In some cases it is alot of extra information, therefore alot of work, and may not be worth the effort. (spell research components) in some cases it may be worth the effort.Ngreth Thergn

When pretty much any bear model in the zone can drop the skin in question, I personally find a generic listing to be acceptable. Detailed listings are great when it's only a couple of a specific type of mob, or there are exceptions within the species.
In part, this was due to the propensity of some folks to scream in here at mach 20 and go "you are WRONG! You left out such-and-such!" if we miss the listing for one single creature. Thankfully, most folks who like to scream at the top of their lungs at the first sign of an error have moved to more flammable boards, I think, but it's still a twitch response from the times when folks were more than happy to yell about errors, but less-than-willing to provide correct information when we asked for it.
I'm willing to flex on this one, and if folks want to flesh out detail in the generic listings, and the data entry gods and goddesses are willing to do the extra work, then more detail it shall be!
