Specifically I wanted to submit a couple of my own, but other than emailing them to the admin - is there another way? (I did look on the RL page but didn't see a link to submit).

Well, we lost all the updates done in the last several months, which means we've got a lot to tackle before we get to the RL recipes.
You can drop submissions over in the real life recipes thread in OOC Chat, and hopefully we'll eventually get all of them added ni on the site.
