Any Ideas?

I am trying to use a mapped GIF on the board here for my SIG the same code works fine on other phpbb boards. it also works fine on cheasyboard. any ideas or help would be appreciated. (I do have HTML enabled here in my profile)

As is mentioned elsewhere around here, we have to manually add what HTML codes we want to allow for the boards.

Going to double-check and make sure there's a reason we wouldn't want it enabled, and if it looks good, I'll add it to the allowable HTML listing in the board setup.

As long as there's no problem, I'd appreciate it if image mapping were added as well... my sig looks kind of silly when you can't click on the links inside it (okay, it probably looks silly anyway :P).

Hooray for somebody actually bringing it up... I was going to redraw my sig and this would save me the effort. =D

We're swamped here, so instead of trying to run around looking it all up, I'm going to push this back onto the two of you mentioning that you want it -- what map parameters do you need enabled? It's not enough for me to add "map", most likely ... will need the ones other than "map name" that you're using so they can specifically be added.

BTW, Eriste? I never did manage to respond to your email from a while back, though I remember to update the links page on the site. Expect a response from me one of these years when I can breathe and decide which of my horde I'd like immortalized, now that Niami is totally retired from active gameplay.

Hehe... I don't know anything about the mapping code... I use a program to generate it for me...

If it helps at all, though, here is the code the way I use it in my EzBoard sig...

Also, Denmother, I don't think you have to be limited to *one* immortalized character... as long as you don't have five characters on every server, I think illustrating more than one of them would still be okay, considering the amount of use I get out of your site.

the feedback from the folks at the Zeb board said you just need to add the MAP tag.

Think the <area> tag needs to be added too, if you want the image map to actually DO anything when it's clicked on.

I added map and map name several hours ago. I'm going to hazard a guess that I need to do area shape and area coords as well, but I'm at a loss as to what else will need to be dropped in. I guess the best thing will be to try your sigs (give me at least 5 minutes from the time I post this) again later and see if they behave themselves or not. If not, I'm going to have to whimper at others to see if they can figure out what else is needed.

I edited your sig. You needed to move the image tag to the top.
