  • New Fereth ornaments

These new Fereth ornaments follow the same recipes as are used to create all of the Praetor Denik crafted ornaments from last year's EoK expansion. with one exception --substitute an Arcron ornament in place of the Lcea Katta ornament.

All of the Fereth recipes likewise trivial at 450. Also, as seemed to be the case when making the Praetor Denik stuff, should you fail a combine the Arcron piece is always returned on failure.

Must scribe the newly added book, Simple Secrets of the Sarnak Hero to learn the recipes and unlock the combines. Cannot make these iteme through sheer experimentation -- must scribe the book first.

Simple Work of the Sarnak Hero

Simple Work of the Sarnak Hero

The Sarnak are a practical people. After seeing what the glorious Combine made of armor, they used the same methods we did to transform armor. I repeat the instructions here so you do not need to reference Simple Secrets of the Combine Hero.

You will need to find a good viridian pigment, only the<page break> finest quality will do, and use it on base material that the fine clerks of the capital city of Lceanium carry.

For plate armor, you will use your skills as a potter to bake the plate sheets in a kiln.

For chain armor, you will need<page break> to use the fine tools of a jeweler's kit to etch the color into the chain links.

For leather armor, you will use the skills of a baker to bake the dye into the leather squares.

And finally, for cloth armor, you will soak the cloth yard in the dye.<page break>

Once you have the pieces, use your smithing skills on plate and chain armor, or your tailoring skills on leather and cloth armor, to work the new colored items into armor.

After this short forward is a detailed list of instructions. Please read them carefully.

Thanks for posting the book text - we don't record that here, but I'll add the new book as soon as someone turns it in to Lucy.

Any idea if the trivials on the recipes are the same?

Oh and can the book be scribed to learn the recipes? - nevermind, I see one - it can be scribed....but does anyone know if it MUST be scribed?

Recipes added. If you noticed that you don't need to scribe the book, or the trivials need to be adjusted, please start a new thread.

                      Thanks!
