My Reinforced Jeweler's Kit shows that the proper mana vial is a Vial of Distilled Mana, not the Vial of Purified Mana.

And confirmed, this recipe requires the Distilled vial, not the Purified vial.
Mousing over the Exalted Reaching recipes in the Jewelry Making Table in pok, all of the Exalted Reaching Symbols require Vial of Distilled Mana.
