Based on what I see in my Kiln, it appears the recipe for the Aegis of Blackscales Ornamentation, that once made a Container Ornament, now, instead, makes an actual Slot 20 Ornament.

Long time ago they converted a whole swath of container ornaments to be augments so could be reusable. I think cause also augments are something less technically complex that don't require weird changes in the item data in order to change the graphic.Originally posted by Pally View PostComment

lol - wow - this is going to be a waste of time. They didn't just change the original item into a type 20 aug, they apparently created duplicate items based on a quick Lucy search. For the Aegis of Blackscales, the aug ID is 153047 - but the container ID is 127132. So, not only do I need to go through and add a bunch of duplicate items, I need to edit every single recipe too. YAY! I wonder why they did it that way instead of just modifying the original item.

Doing so would have likely wiped out every existing item, or something like that, broken everyone's item that had been ornamented with the container. I can't remember them ever having been able to re-release an item to the same ID after making a "structural" change to the item.Originally posted by Aanuvane View PostComment
