The recipe actually uses conjuring thickener, rather than consuming thickener (as currently listed). As I had already scribed the sortilege sheet book (best value in Norrath!), the correct recipe showed up in the research table, I made the adjustment, and successfully made the right scroll for my Guildie, who has subsequently scribed the spell and used it correctly.
