Fine Bone Chips

I happened to notice someone else had submitted a list of mobs that drop Fine Bone Chips, so I checked to see what new mobs were being added. I was surprised to see the post saying that no sources were listed, since I was sure eqtc had sent me off to Stone Hive, but sure enough, no mobs from there were listed. So here are some more mobs that drop Fine Bone Chips. All of these mobs spawn in Stone Hive, in the basement, only at night.

a reanimated thrall
an undead royal
a crytic spirit
an undead slave

Fine Bone Chips

The most I've seen these drop are in The Burried Sea - from doing the hand aug, Jonas Dagmire's Skeletal Hand (sorry if I didn't spell that right) off the undead island, Deadbone Reef. Back when I was doing this quest, the fine bone chips were not marked as a tradeskill item, so a lot got sold as vendor fodder. Now I wish I hadn't been so hasty to get it done so fast, but in a way I'm glad I did, now I can do it for my alts and get more.

Fine Bone Chips

Normally when I farm them for Nostrums, I will go to the undead tower in NW Blightfire Moors. The plentiful mobs within the tower drop them. Easy clear and quick respawn, just not the greatest drop rate. I've been holding off until its no longer a hot-zone though till I go back to farming.

Added Stone Hive mobs to list. The Buried Sea and Blightfire Moores have listed mobs too.
