  • Ornate Charm of Derived Adaptation

    http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_...r=035000000000

I made this today with the information from the pottery forum. I removed the Damp Marrow as this was going to be for a metal (chain) class. It did not work with 2x Unfired Charms, so I tried with only 1x Unfired Charm and failed. So I knew I had a recipe correct, but not sure which until I succeded, (on the next try).

    The correct recipe is:
    1x Fair Rilsteel
    1x Malleable Loam
    1x Symbol of Derived Unity
    1x Unfired Ornate Charm

(not sure if I inserted the link correctly above)

    Thanks alot !!!!!

    Questions:

    1. did you still do this in a kiln or tanaan kiln?
    2. was the trivial still 222?
    3. was the product made still called Ornate Charm of Derived Adaptation? Since the one we have in the database is for plate classes only. or was there a slight variation on the name?
    4. did it yield 2?
    5. were any items returned on success or failure?
    6. if the item was a different item created or one with the same name with different stats, could you please give us the stats of the one you created? IE, if yours is useable by chain classes, then it must have at least different classes for its class list if not race list etc.

Just a note on classes for charms - these are not broken down by plate/chain/leather/silk, but rather melee/caster/hybrid/priest. The ornate charm as listed now has both plate and chain wearing classes listed.

I just ran into this problem too just now, making Ornate Charm of Physical Ferocity, which used to make three at once. The combine is now with a single unfired charm, and one of your choice of a loam, spinnerette, or marrow, not all three at once. In other words, you make the charms one at a time, with a single cultural drop, not one for each armor type that your race has.

I've found from past experiences that the tighter your plan, the more likely you are to run into something unpredictable.
